Airport
Reservations
|
If
you are calling to make an airport pick-up reservation,
the following information will be needed:
account
number, if applicable
passenger's name
airport
name
f
light number
city of origin
flight arrival time
One
hour before the flight is due in, the dispatch room calls
the airline and checks the ETA of the flight. We adjust
the time accordingly and send the car for the time of arrival.
We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information received
by the airline. If you do not wish the car to be there when
the plane lands, give the operator the correct flight information,
however, tell the operator to delay the pickup for the amount
of time you think you need to either collect your bags or
clear customs.
For
Example: the ETA of the flight is 1 P.M., however you need
to clear customs which usually takes 30 minutes. Tell the
operator the time of pick up is 1 P.M., so they may check
on the flight, but instruct the operator to make the pick
up 30 minutes after arrival time. This will cut down on
your waiting time charges at the airport.
Anyone
using our service for airport pick ups should call (917)
735-4977 should you not see our car. Anyone leaving without
calling will be charged a "no-show".

Airport Pick-ups
|
We
can make the pickups at three places at the airport.
First:
Outside with a sign.
The driver waits outside of the terminal with a sign in
the window with the passenger's name. Keep in mind that
the car may be chased and have to circle around the airport.
Second: In Baggage with a sign or what is commonly
known as a Meet & Greet.
This pick up is where the driver parks his car and meets
the passenger in the Baggage area. There is an aditional
charge for this service.
Third: Is the Meet in Customs with a Sign.
With this pick up the driver parks his car and meets the
passenger outside the customs area. There is an additional
service for this service.

Waiting Time
|
Waiting
time is charged at $30.00 per hour (calculated at $2.50 per
every five minutes). There is no grace period on a reservation.
If you call for a car at 1 P.M., your waiting time will start
at that time. On some live calls there is a 15 minute grace
period from the time of dispatch before waiting time is charged.
For instance: If you call and request a car immediately and
it is 1 P.M. and you are given a car number with an ETA of
5 minutes, you have until 1:15 P.M. before waiting time starts
being charged. Waiting time applies to stops as well as original
pick up point.
|
Telephone Charges
|
90%
of our fleet is equipped with cellular telephones. If your
account does not permit the use of cellular phones please
notify your account representative. Local charges are $2.00
per minute, long distance is $3.00 per minute. Please remember,
incoming calls are charged as well. Calls to 800 numbers or
calls where a calling card is used are billable charges since
the driver will be charged by his carrier.
|
Time Jobs
|
A
time job is a car that is needed to make multiple stops in
any of the five boroughs. The charge for the service is $40.00
per hour with a two hour minimum. Cars taken out of the 5
boroughs are charged by destination and stops. Please see
our Rates page for detailed rate charts.
|
Reservations
|
Top Notch Limousine cannot guarantee a reservation during
peak times of inclement weather, however, they will take priority
over live calls and we will do everything possible to be on
time for the reservation. If you request a car and then find
other means of transportation, you must call us to cancel,
otherwise you may be billed for a "no show".
|
What is Considered a Stop
|
Stops
can vary in price and there is a question as to what constitutes
a stop. If the passenger leaves something at the office and
needs to go back, it is considered a stop. An out of the way
stop is a stop that deviates from the original path and is
in a different town or zone. Stop charges can range anywhere
from $5.00 to $30.00. Please contact our pricing department
for specific information.
|
Cancellations and No Shows
|
A
car can be cancelled without being charged if the call is
received within 10 minutes of the dispatch time. Keep in mind
that if the pickup is out of town, the dispatch time could
be as long as two hours. If the car is already on the scene
and someone comes to the car to release the car there will
be a "No Show".
